The National Family Caregiver Support Program was implemented at the New Orleans Council on Aging in 2002 and was designed to provide supportive services to family caregivers caring for an elderly or developmentally disabled loved one.

The program provides a multi-faceted service delivery, in order to meet the health care needs of the care recipient, while making the caregiver’s responsibilities a little easier.

NFCSP provides the following services:

Adult Day Health Care

Material Aid (adult incontinent supplies)

We emphasize to our caregivers that they “Are Not Alone” and that the New Orleans Council on Aging is here to help.
